A two-day gathering convened by the Royal Society of Edinburgh and CoDeL Uist bringing together community groups, researchers, policymakers, funders and artists to explore how community knowledge is created, shared and valued in research and policymaking. I facilitated sessions exploring community-rooted research as a relational, non-extractive practice - and how deep, place-based knowledge, including embodied and inherited cultural knowledge, can inform more equitable and effective policymaking in Scotland.
